Berkeley

Cavalier King Charles Spaniels

WELCOME!    The Dogs!

Busby Berkeley is a director and choreographer who is known for outrageous dance numbers in classic movies of the 30's and 40's. We have always enjoyed the classic movies of the 1930s and 1940s, and the ones that were directed or choreographed by Busby Berkeley, whose innovative and distinctive style reminds us of our own Cavalier King Charles Spaniels with classic elegance and always dazzling in anything they do, like a Busby Berkeley movie.

Berkeley Cavaliers was first established with our first Blenheim Cavalier whose name is Ch Shenandoah Danzig, Berkeley, who we acquired in 1999. He is a lively soul and the dazzle of our hearts, he is a wonderful example of structure and soundness for the breed with true classic elegance and style. In the next pages you will be introduced to our classical Cavaliers whose goal in life is to dazzle us every day, and they take this responsibility seriously, in a sort of jovial way, just like the dance routines by Busby Berkeley in the 1930s. We hope you enjoy our pages and information about our Cavalier King Charles Spaniels at Berkeley Cavaliers.

Our Name

Our first Cavalier was named Berkeley and when we acquired our second Cavalier we named him Busby, and from there our dogs primarily have registered names from Busby Berkeley movie titles.
